My Approach
My Approach
Your healing journey is yours — it doesn’t belong to a cookie-cutter model. What feels right for you will emerge through trust, collaboration, and flexibility. I’m here to help steer, but you always steer too.
A Living, Breathing Therapy
I practice eclectic, integrative therapy — borrowing from a variety of evidence-based tools while staying rooted in humanity. What that looks like:
• Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT)— noticing thoughts that trap you in anxiety, hopelessness, or disconnection
• Relational & Systemic Work — examining how your relationships, family, culture, and patterns influence how you show up
• Trauma-Sensitive Practices — because trauma doesn’t just live in the mind — it lives in bodies, in memory, in the “not safe” of your nervous system
• ** honest challenge + deep attunement** — I’ll support you harder when you can handle it, and hold space when your defenses feel too loud.
The Heart of the Work
1. Therapeutic Alliance
Everything begun and sustained in healing comes from us connecting — your voice, your pace, your trust.
2. Co-Creation
You are the expert on your experience — I’m here to ask good questions, offer frameworks, and guide adjustments.
3. Flexibility
What you need early on may shift. We’ll adapt together, always checking in.
4. Challenge with Care
Growth often asks for discomfort. I’ll lean toward you — pushing when safe, pulling when needed.
My hope is that therapy with me feels like having someone in your corner — someone who sees you, challenges you, and believes in you even when you doubt.
